Peter Pettigrew, ROUSPrompt:

Author’s note: Yes, I know The Princess Bride came out about a decade after I’m setting this story, but you know what? If JKR doesn’t have to be able to count, then neither do I! *grin*
Peter sat in front of the tele at his Aunt Grace’s house. She was a Squib and lived as a Muggle – for some reason, his mum had thought it would be a good idea to send him there for the summer. There was nothing to do for it, of course. She sat in her chair all day and knitted, leaving Peter to entertain himself. Without magic, he was bored out of his mind. He had, however, discovered his Aunt’s movie collection.
He put a likely-looking tape into the VCR (hoping against hope that his memory from Muggle Studies had served him well) and pressed the little triangle button. He hoped that maybe the film would distract him from trying to figure out what his Animagus form could – or would – be.
An hour later, when the ROUSes attacked Westley and Buttercup, a feral grin spread across his face, and he felt the scratching tingling of his skin prickle with anticipation. He flared his nose a little, almost feeling the imagined whiskers twitch in anticipation.
A rat. Maybe not the most dignified of animals, but it would be far more useful than any other animal he could think of.
